Code
Enforcement,
There is a dark car
parked/stored on Sycamore St. next to
Sundance Park off and on for 18 days, since
June. For the last 3 days the
dark car has been unmoved.
Now, they have
started working on it.
I just happen to got photos of
them working on that car next to Sundance
Park.
They should be working on
their vehicles in their driveway, which is
right next door to Sundance Park. But
you allow them to continue to abuse
residential house vehicle parking
laws in our town with favoritism to
these new folks from TX, who moved into
the neighborhood in June.
I think that you have given
them long enough time to move into their
house. Their 3 cars do not need to be
constantly parked next to Sundance
Park. At this point in
time you are showing blatant
favoritism.
Between their 3 cars,
one of them has been parked next to
Sundance Park daily, since June 1.
That makes 74 days in a row!!!!
Which is very much
against our laws. We in our neighbor
are tired of looking at these vehicles being
allowed favoritism.
Now they have actually
started to work on their cars!!!! And
they have the nerve to work on their cars
next to Sundance Park, instead of in their
driveway. That is so totally
illegal. Shame on Code Enforcement
allowing this type of behavior to continue.
I noticed that you got the
tan SUV parked on Hoover to move their
vehicle. Of course that vehicle
had CO plates, not out of state plates, that
makes all the difference in the world to
Code Enforcement. They moved away last
week.
Why can't you get these cars
to move to their parking spaces at their own
house?
How come you can do one
vehicle and not the other?
Favoritism. Our state
ethics laws back our local ethics laws
against favoritism. Our CO SOS web
site has all the info for your viewing
pleasure.
These neighbors must
think our Code Enforcement Department is
inept, as Code Enforcement does
not even seem to know our own City vehicle
residence parking laws. They must also
think that they are being horribly
harassed by our Code Enforcement
Department. I know I would think that,
as Code Enforcement keeps going back for one
car after another, rather than inform them
of all the vehicle violations at once.
Talk about job security for Code
Enforcement.
Here are 2 photos that I
took today, while the owner was working on
the dark car right next to Sundance Park.
Working on vehicles next to
Sundance Park is for sure against the
law. This car
needs to go now.
And the tan SUV is back
every now and then, too, when the dark car
is being worked on by the owner. You
are just having a horrible time enforcing
City Residential Parking Laws.
Sincerely,
Bev Beaufait

It also prohibits acts of
advantage or favoritism and, in that regard,
prohibits special considerations, use of
employee time for personal or private
reasons, and use of City vehicles or
equipment, except in same manner as
available to any other person (or in manner
that will substantially benefit City)."
"Last
night we heard from the
owners of the
truck. It belongs
to a couple who recently
moved to Louisville and
who just purchased the
vehicle. The
husband and wife are a
little distressed about
why the selective
enforcement against
them. Commander
Kingston will speak with
them and convey our
assurances that this is
all quite routine and
innocent. "

2012 e-mail to me from
Bruce Goodman, Police
Chief. He knows
the rules. He
applies them when he
wants. He is a
bully. He does not
do his job that he is
paid to do. He
should be fired on the
spot. If he did
his job correctly, the
first time he contacted
the owners, he would not
be backed into a
corner to save
face. Now, he will
not do his job, just to
try to prove he is
correct, when he is so
very wrong.
