City Council,,

I sent in an e-mail this morning to Channel 7 News Investigative Reporting about our public corruption in our Police Department and City Council, like Berthoud's.

You folks have tried to ignore the problems in my neighborhood, that you created.  You realize that running away from any problem only increases the distance from the solution.

The Police Chief has broken many City Code laws, himself, by not enforcing the "District Categories" for our residential neighborhood.

Bruce allows renters to operate commercial vendor businesses out of a residential neighborhood for 1.5 years now, even though he knows it is against the law.

Bruce actually encourages the Code Enforcement to break our City laws by allowing renters' to operate commercial businesses out of our residential neighborhood.

Bruce does not tag commercial dumpsters to be removed from our neighborhood, when renters are told repeatedly violations of our residential laws of not allowing a certain size of commercial vendor dumpster/truck/etc. in our residential neighborhood.

You people have allowed this renter to run a commercial vendor business out of his rental house in a residential neighborhood for over 50 days in a row now.

Here is this morning's pic with the "Handyman" truck back, too.

The law states that it is prohibited.

You can see how large the illegal commercial vendor dumpster is compared to a compliant residential vehicle.

 (Code 1977, § 10.20.040; Ord. No. 748-1981, § 5)
"exceeding 18 feet in length, 18 feet in combined length for vehicles with trailers, or eight feet in height, or 8,000 pounds in weight by the G.V.W. rating indicated on vehicle, loaded or unloaded, shall be prohibited from all zoning districts except with the following exceptions: I-Industrial."

Legal trailer for a "neighborhood" that is not a Category for "commercial" use.

Sec. 17.20.100. - Parking spaces not to be used for storage or advertising. Required parking spaces shall be available for the parking of operable passenger automobiles of residents, customers, patrons, and employees only, and shall not be used for the storage of vehicles or materials or for the parking of trucks used in conducting the business or use, or for the purpose of advertising.(Code 1977, § 17.20.100; Ord. No. 715-1981, § 15)

Can you understand the difference with pictures and laws right next to each other?

Is that easier for you to comprehend now?

Code Enforcement driving by.  Nothing was done.  Our Police Chief is encouraging/allowing Code Enforcement to do illegal activities by not informing the renter of our City Code Laws.

Bruce does nothing.

Bruce is paid for doing nothing.

I want Bruce Goodman arrested for breaking our own City Codes for "favoritism" and disobeying a lawful order.

Bruce thinks he is above the law, as the Police Chief.  That is a very arrogant stance, in my humble opinion.

Filing a "verified statement" did nothing to stop the Police Chief from running this neighborhood into the ground.

Our City Courts actually allow him to continue illegal practices.

This town is so very corrupt, in my humble opinion.

When the Police Chief does not follow our own City Code laws for enforcing those laws, he should be arrested.

If I have to turn in another "verified statement" against Bruce Goodman with new charges of specifically allowing renters favoritism by allowing them to operate a commercial vendor business out of our residential neighborhood, then that is exactly what I will do.

In the meantime, I want Bruce Goodman, the Police Chief for the City of Louisville arrested, so our neighborhood becomes a neighborhood once again, and not a noisy neighborhood that our City allows to operate illegal commercials out of.

Bruce Goodman allows Code Enforcement to break our city laws by allowing 2 illegal vendor businesses to be run out of our neighborhood.  Our neighborhood is only a "District Categories" for a residential neighborhood.  Bruce knows this law.

We have laws for the size of trailers allowed in a residential neighborhood.  Bruce knows this law.  The commercial dumpster stored at 409 W. Sycamore Court is for commercial use only.  That is a rental house.  No construction is going on there.

There is no need for the renter that runs the "Handyman" commercial vendor business out of his house to leave his work vehicles in a residential neighborhood.  He has moved them before for days on end.  So he has somewhere else to store his commercial dumpster.

By encouraging City Code Enforcement employees to break our "District Categories" laws with this renter, Bruce Goodman needs to be arrested in a Citizen's Arrest by me.

The City Manager needs to have Bruce Goodman given a ticket, a warning, a summons, red tagged, arrest him, or whatever is necessary to make him stop this illegal public corruption of our Police Department and Code Enforcement Department.

Here is the law he is breaking.

Sec. 9.04.050. Disobeying a lawful order.permanent
link to this piece of content

It is unlawful for any person to knowingly disobey the lawful order of any police officer, firefighter, or emergency personnel giving incident to the discharge of the official duties of such police officer or firefighter.

This letter is a Citizen's Arrest for the Chief of Police for the City of Louisville, Colorado.
